Every film in Bollywood tends to have its very own USP or unique identity. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan is no different. Besides its unique and never-before attempted storyline, this film also happens to be the first ever film to be shot in the historic Dubrovnik City in Croatia.
When asked the reason to shoot in Croatia, Aashish Singh (Executive Producer-YRF) said that Croatia was an untapped beautiful location and the creative team loved the look and feel of Dubrovnik. He added that they did a lot of research on cities in Europe that have not been seen in a lot of Indian films and then shortlisted a few before taking a final decision of shooting in Dubrovnik. Readers may recall that Dubrovnik City is famous for the shoot of the cult TV show ‘Game Of Thrones’ and ‘DIG’.
Starring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, the Maneesh Sharma directed Fan is all set to release on 15 April 2016.
