Salman will look to recreate success of ‘Bodyguard’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’, which is said to be a love story between a Brahmin woman and a Muslim man. Also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the movie is directed and coproduced by Kabir Khan. It releases on July 16.
The superstar’s return to Rajshri Productions after 16 years makes‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ a film to
watch out for in November this year. The fresh pairing of Salman and Sonam Kapoor who is 20 years his junior, is an interesting feature. If that isn’t something to look forward to, Salman adds another feather to his cap. 2015 will also see Salman crooning a qawwali for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Salman who reportedly asked Kabir to build sets of the film in Karjat, was spotted shooting with some qawwali singers in Delhi and the actor seemed to enjoy the experience a lot. The actor has previously sung the ‘Hangover’ number from ‘Kick’ and given his keen interest in music, it would be nice to see Salman rendering another song in quick succession.
Additionally, the year will also see the superstar’s creative side. Salman’s love for painting is well-known and as he produces Nikhil Advani’s ‘Hero’, the actor will personally design the first look, presenting his two proud discoveries –Sooraj Pancholi and Aathiya Shetty.
So far the two newcomers’ looks have been fiercely guarded against all exposure. “Salman Khan didn’t
want Sooraj or Aathiya to do any photo-shoots until the first look of ‘Hero’ was out. They are not even allowed to go out for social events without permission from the production house,” says a source. In the meantime, the new release date for ‘Hero’ has been finalised as June 10, a week after Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, stated the source. Well, seems like Salman’s got a full bag of tricks for 2015!
