Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was one of the celebrity guests at charity gala hosted in the honour of Prince William and Kate Middleton in Mumbai on Sunday, said that the Royal couple was “gracious & full of poise.” He Tweeted “The Royal couple was so gracious & full of poise. Tonite as I said is the nite of the King the Queen & the Knights. Wish all nites were same”
The 50-year-old actor couldn’t cheer for his team Kolkata Knights Riders at the ongoing Indian Premiere League. KKR lost to Delhi Daredevils and for that Shah Rukh tweeted: “Sorry wasn’t there to wish you all in person. Will come to Delhi & bring happiness for both teams.”
Actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Anil Kapoor and his daughter Sonam and nephew Arjun, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh also represented Bollywood at the gala.
Kate and Will’s India trip started on April 10 with a visit to the Taj Memorial, which remembers those who lost their lives in the 26/11 terror attacks in the city. They also earlier played a cricket match at a charity event where Kate wore an Anita Dongre tunic.
Prince William and Kate are on a seven-day tour of India and Bhutan, aimed at building up strong bonds with the two countries.
