Ranbir Kapoor, who has paired up with Rockstar director Imtiaz Ali for his next Tamasha, claims that Imtiaz makes the best love stories. “Imtiaz has been instrumental in my career as Deepika’s career as well and this is our film together. He is one of the best directors of the country and is the best love-story maker. He is the grand- daddy of love stories,” he said.
Ranbir who visited the national capital to celebrate Diwali, along with his Tamasha co-star Deepika Padukone,donned a maroon kurta-pyjama teamed up with a printed flower jacket. Deepika looked gorgeous in an off-white saree with smoky eyes.
Speaking about working with Imtiaz, Deepika said, “I have worked with Imtiaz in Love Aaj Kal and he also wrote Cocktail. We are on good terms with each other and I am really glad that he has roped-in me for the movie. I always wanted to work with this combination where Imtiaz would direct me opposite Ranbir.”
Tamasha marks the comeback of Ranbir and Deepika together onscreen, two years after their hit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film also brings together Ranbir and Imtiaz after a gap of four years: Their last stint, Rockstar was also a hit at the box office.
