The Good Guys donate in excess of $8 million dollars to more than 200 charities and community organisations around Australia through its Local Giving Program. The Good Guys Castle Hill is accepting nominations for local schools, community groups, charities, families and individuals to receive a helping hand during Doing Good Week. From the donation of a small appliance for a raffle to volunteerism by staff, the store is on the lookout for opportunities, big or small, to ‘do good’ during Doing Good Week, celebrated between Monday, 24 August and Sunday, 30 August 2015.
“We will undertake seven acts of Doing Good as part of Doing Good Week and we encourage everyone to nominate a person or group they think deserves it most,” said Nash Patel, proprietor of The Good Guys Castle Hill. “Doing good and making a difference in the local community is an integral part of what it means to be a Good Guy,” he added. “We strongly believe in strengthening our community by supporting essential programs, services and projects at a grassroots level which is why we support various local community groups throughout the year,” Nash said.
Nominations can be made in-store or via Facebook facebook.com/thegoodguysAU upto Sunday, 16 August 2015.
