The Dhoom franchise is all set to become bigger and better, as Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly all set to join the Yash Raj Film’s hit series in the fourth installment. The film, produced by Aditya Chopra, will also star actor Hrithik Roshan, again, after the superhit Dhoom 2.
Further, Big B’s song, actor Abhishek Bachchan will reprise the role of ACP Jai Dixit in the film. Will the two Bachchans have a faceoff on the big screen is not known.
The film will be directed by Dhoom: 3‘s Vijay Krishna Acharya. “At the moment it is not very clear where Victor (Vijay Krishna Acharya) is going with this. All that is conformed is that Aditya Chopra and Victor have approached and signed Mr bachchan and Hrithik,” a source close to the project was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, another source said: “While Hrithik, Adi and Victor are coming together, the film might not be Dhoom 4, but another thriller.”
Big B and Hrithik have been co-stars in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Lakshya, and with Abhishek he has appeared in Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Paa.
Mr Bachchan, last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, will be next seen in Bejoy Nambair’s Wazir.
