Glamour girls galore
Bollywood beauties made their presence felt at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival 2015 with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Malika Sherawat and Katrina Kaif walked the red carpet with grace, glamour and a touch of desi élan.
Ash, a seasoned Cannes veteran looked stunning and elegant in a lavish emerald green Elie Saab gown. With a wavy hairdo, dark maroon lips and green liner enhancing her beautiful eyes, Ash created significant ‘Awww!’ and ‘Aaaah!’ moments on the red carpet.
Young Sonam Kapoor looked like a million bucks in a royal blue Ralph & Russo Spring 2014 couture gown. Stunning Sonam registered her fifth Cannes appearance, and absolutely nailed it with her outstanding outfit, matched with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and dainty Chopard earrings. With a one sided curly hairdo, red lips and smoky eye makeup, Sonam strode and posed confidently, to the delight of the photographers and onlookers.
Katrina Kaif made her debut appearance at Cannes wearing an Oscar De La Renta Fall 2015 black gown. Flaunting her red hair in the elegant strapless ensemble, the actress was a mellow sight compared to day two at which she wore a red Elie Saab gown, red hair, red lips and a red belt – a bit too much red for the red carpet!
Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat surprised onlookers by turning up an Alexis Mabille fuchsia gown, complete with a stunning Boucheron necklace. For a change the actress ditched her revealing choice of clothes, and opted for elegance. A wise choice!
