A call was received at the IGIA Police Station regarding quarrel with a woman.
Five foreign nationals including three Australians have been booked for allegedly misbehaving with a female Air India cabin crew on board from Sydney to Delhi, Indian police said on Wednesday.
Air India official told The Times of India on Wednesday that a complaint was filed against these 5 foreigners and action has been taken against them for misbehaving with the crew.
The complaint was filed after the flight landed at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday.
“A PCR call was received at the IGIA Police Station regarding quarrel with a woman. On enquiry, complainant, a woman crew member of Air India alleged that some passengers misbehaved, threatened and assaulted her when the flight was on its way to Delhi from Sydney,” a senior Police official told The Times of India.
Of the five passengers against whom complaint was filed, three are Australian nationals while one each from New Zealand and Italy, the police official said.
Accordingly action under rule 22 of Aircraft act has been taken against these five foreign nationals, he added.
Business Standard identified them as Khederlrain Mark, 22, Khederlrian Khoren,52, and Khederlrain Goulnara,55 of Australia, Tumarkina Nataliya, 56 of Italy and Liubov Leonidovna,44 of New Zealand.
