Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is being loved by the audience. Directed by Om Raut, the film also has Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role.

Ajay Devgn’s 100th film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, directed by Om Raut, is unstoppable at the box office. The film also stars Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior opened with a splendid amount of Rs 15.10 crore and made Rs 20.57 crore on Day 2. The film is expected to earn Rs 25 crore on Sunday, thus crossing Rs 50-crore mark in just three days of its release.

In Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Ajay Devgn plays the titular role of Tanaji Malusare, who was the Subedar in the army of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Kajol plays his wife Savitribai Malusare. Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand is seen in a negative role in the film. He plays the role of Rajput fortkeeper Udaybhan Rathod.

The film received mixed response from the critics, but it is being loved by the audience as is proved by its box office numbers. With impeccable use of CGI, the makers have created an alternative world where thay have presented the Maratha warrior as a superhero.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior received tough competition from Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak and Rajinikanth’s Darbar. However, as the box office numbers suggest the Ajay Devgn film has come up as the undisputable winner.

Apart from Ajay, Kajol and Saif, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior also stars Sharad Kelkar in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The actor is receiving praise from all quarters for his resemblance and portrayal of the great Maratha king.

In the coming days, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is expected to break many box office records. Going by the numbers, it seems the film will cross Rs 100 crore in the second week of release.
