Eight prominent members from the community including politicians joined by their dancing partners thrilled the audience comprising over 200 members with their superb performances at the Stars of Parramatta fundraiser event held to support Cancer Council of NSW at the Novotel Hotel in Parramatta on July 7, 2018. The event was very successful, given it ended with a collection of $76258.70 for the Cancer Council initiative.
Parramatta Councillor Sameer Pandey and his dancing partner, Tatiana, were adjudged unanimously by three eminent judges as the best “ Star of Parramatta”. Kate Hawkins from the Cancer Council thanked the Stars, the dance teachers, the sponsors and the community for their active support. The Indian Telegraph team was present at the event as an exclusive media partner from the community.
