Next year, on Eid, the box office will witness the clash of two big films — Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Salman Khan-starrer Sultan. While the trade has been abuzz with speculation about which film will do better, a new development on Raees’s distribution front seems to put things into perspective.
We’ve now been informed that co-producer Shah Rukh has tied up with Eros for his film’s worldwide release, since the company is known to have the most widespread distribution network in the USA and the UK. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees is being produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Gauri Khan.
Meanwhile, Salman and Shah Rukh have been busy promoting each other’s movies on social media. There have also been a few reports about this highly-anticipated clash being averted, but the two films’ makers have not made any official announcements about it.
