Salman Khan has been enjoying the success for quite a while now. His movies like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan were all blockbuster hits and broke all records at the box office. And now the superstar is all set to give another hit with Kabir Khan’s next, Tubelight. Earlier, on the Independence Day, Kabir Khan teased fans with a still of Salman dressed as a soldier with scenic mountain ranges of Ladakh in the background. However, given the shot was from the back, we didn’t get much from the look.
And now another look of Salman Khan from the movie has surfaced online. The actor is shooting in Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Earlier, in July, the film was shot in Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir.
On Saturday, Salman Khan reached Manali and was welcomed by the locals there. The fact that he was wearing a Himachali cap made him an instant favourite in the parts. The team is currently shooting in Naggar, known for its quaint houses. It also affords majestic views of Rohtang Pass, the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti, and Solang Nullah.
Salman, who will allegedly play the character of a man with special needs in the film, was seen sporting a simple look wearing a checked shirt with a sweater and brown pants. He was clean shaven and kept his hair simple and side parted. He was also seen waving to his fans while making his way to the shoot locations amid tight security.
The film has already created immense buzz ever since its announcement and Salman has also managed to break the social media with his pics from the sets. Earlier, the second schedule of Tubelight was to begin in the Kashmir Valley, but it was deferred owing to prevailing unrest there. The team might be back to Kashmir later this month to film some portions.
Tubelight is set in the backdrop of 1962 war between China and India at the Sino-Indian border. Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu is cast opposite Salman Khan in the film. This is the third film where Kabir and Salman are collaborating after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Tubelight is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
