A person has died after being shot a number of occasions by police on an island in Queensland’s southeast.
The Courier Mail is reporting the person was shot after coming at officers with a weapon at 9.15am this morning.
Paramedics have been assessing the person for crucial accidents, however he later died.
A Queensland Police spokesman confirmed police had shot a person in an incident on the island positioned about 40km from Brisbane CBD.
