Robert de Niro has torn strips off Donald Trump in a new video where the legendary actor says he wants to “punch him in the face” for being a “bulls—t artist”.
De Niro was asked to give a neutral comment for the #VoteYourFuture campaign to encourage US residents to show up on election day on November 8.
But the fired up actor and director used his moment to call out the Republican presidential candidate.
“He’s so blatantly stupid. He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, a bulls–t artist,” he said.
“A mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about, doesn’t do his homework, doesn’t care, thinks he’s gaming society, doesn’t pay his taxes.”
The furious monologue continued with the Hollywood icon saying he wants to channel his inner Raging Bull against Trump.
“He talks about how he wants to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face. This is somebody that we want for president? I don’t think so,” de Niro said.
“He’s an embarrassment to this country. It makes me so angry that this country has gotten to the point where this fool – this bozo – has wound up where he has.”
The video was pulled from the campaign for being bias but producers released it publicly yesterday.
It was posted online mere hours after a video of Trump surfaced where he brags about groping women.
