Ranveer Singh as ruthless and menacing Allaudin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati left all with popping eyes and racing hearts. As soon as the trailer of the movie surfaced online, the actor was swarmed with lot of love from his fans and words of appreciation from his contemporaries. Overwhelmed with such a splendid response, Ranveer took to his social media accounts to thank everyone for their love and kind words. Promising all to give a great cinematic experience on December 1 when Padmavati hits theaters, the talented actor penned a letter addressed to his fans, friends and colleagues in the film industry.

He wrote, “Senior peers, friends in the media and the trade, and most of all our BELOVED AUDIENCE…

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you who have been so generous in effusively showering love and appreciation for our trailer. To witness this avalanche of praise across the board is unprecedented and overwhelming. It’s very rare ..and very, very humbling.”

Feeling blessed to be directed by the ace filmmaker like Bhansali, the actor praises the director as he writes, “It’s a result of the blood, sweat and tears that our Team has poured into this mammoth effort. Sanjay sir, my crazy genius, the master craftsman.. has fought, suffered and sacrificed for this film — the success of this trailer is a testament to his sheer tenacity and iron will. What you’re seeing is the vision of a deeply passionate artist who has bared his infinite soul on celluloid. He is tireless and unrelenting in his pursuit of excellence. I am blessed to have had the privilege of being directed by him–he nurtures me and I learn from him and grow every day.”

Be it his birthday or any special occasion in his life, Ranveer is one actor who sits down to revert to all the tweets that surface on his feed. But unable to follow the trend, he says, “I am still shooting the movie (just the last few days left now) so, unfortunately, I’m not able to reply to each one of you kind folks individually, like I usually do. But it’s so very heartening to read everything you all have said.”

Coming back to the much-awaited release of the year, Ranveer who has portrayed different shades of grey in Padmavati with sheer flamboyance, assures, “Having said this, I assure you, that what you’ve seen thus far is just a tiny fraction of what this film has to offer. I will see you in the cinema halls on December 1st for what all of us in Team Padmavati hope will be an unforgettable cinematic experience for you all.”

He signed off with ‘love’ leaving us even more intrigued about the movie which also stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini and Shahid Kapoor as Maharaja Rawal Ratan Singh.

Deepika who is looking beautiful in the trailer and is yet again proving that she is an actor of brilliance also thanked all for all the praise. She tweeted, “And as this day comes to an end,I cannot even begin to express the gratitude and joy I feel today! I sometimes wonder,’what have I done to deserve so much love and appreciation’..and while I seek,all I can say is a big big Thank You!🙏”
