The family of a 12-year-old issued a desperate plea to help locate the missing boy, according to Queensland Police.
It’s believed the boy left his residence on Aramac Street in Brassall, Brisbane’s west, between midnight and 4am on Monday morning.
It was not known which direction the 12-year-old was headed.
“Police and his family hold serious concerns for his safety as his disappearance is out of character,” the statement released on Monday afternoon said.
“He is described as caucasian in appearance with short brown hair and blue eyes.
“He was also wearing a Parramatta Eels rugby league jersey and shorts.”
Anyone who has any information is urged to contact police.
