Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power has revealed she is looking forward to a celibate Christmas, and is giving up men completely in 2020.

The 28-year-old tells Daily Mail Australia she is focusing on ‘finding herself’ and ‘self-love’, and joked she is not as promiscuous as people believe.

‘I’ve probably only slept with like 14 people,’ Jessika claimed on Monday, admitting she spent six years in a committed relationship before finding fame.

Jessika continued: ‘I’m looking forward to Christmas in Cairns with my family and I’m on a man ban. I’m staying single in 2020 and want to focus on myself and self-love.’

The reality star admitted that despite being linked to a never-ending list of men throughout the year, she has mostly just shared a drink or quick kiss with them.

‘Before my love life was in the public eye, I’d go on dates, sometimes two in a week. That’s what dating is. Finding out who you like,’ she added.

‘But now I’m constantly being sl**-shamed, and everybody in Australia seems to think I’m a w****. I’m constantly getting messages from older women saying horrible things, as if they haven’t been on multiple dates before.’

Ahead of her appearances at Schoolies back in November, Jessika said she wanted her 216,000 followers to ‘always be safe in the bedroom’ and use protection.

‘I definitely think my younger followers should just do what they think is good and feels comfortable for them [when it comes to dating],’ she said at the time.

‘If they want to date someone and then don’t like them, but they’ve kissed them, they’re entitled to then go on another date and kiss someone else as well!

‘It doesn’t mean you’re a sl** or that you’re any lower than anybody else.’

Earlier this year, Jessika caused controversy by ‘cheating’ on her ‘husband’ Mick Gould with co-star Dan Webb, who then dumped her on live TV.

She then enjoyed whirlwind flings with reality stars, Matt Whyatt and Nick Furphy, former felon Sam Abdulrahim and boxer Kyron Dryden.

However, Jessika has said she is happy remaining single going forward and wants to focus on building her brand and improving her public image.
