The Indian Telegraph fly on the wall buzzed around the action at the IIFA, watching, noting, recording, and enjoying a sneaky giggle from time to time. Its lucky that fly swatters were strictly out of bounds at venues that were luxurious and opulent. Well, she certainly got around and picked the juciest morsels to regale your curiosity!
A certain face of Bollywood could not control his well-known rangeela side, and was seen mollycoddling a starlet in an elevator. How typically filmi, ain’t it! No, no, let’s not name names, let’s simply allow reputations to do the talking here!
It is not just the damsels of Bollywood that enjoy pampering. Male actors are also spa junkies. We heard actor Anupam Kher was a regular at the spa at Ritz Carlton, the ultra-luxury hotel where the entire Bollywood junta had camped for the IIFA weekend. A very reliable source tells us that Anupam enjoyed a really luxurious therapy at the spa.
Hats off to Hrithik’s dedication! Not only did he steal the show with his megawatt performance at the IIFA Awards gala, but he also impressed fans at a mall in KL by dancing full throttle despite running a high fever!
Stars can be touristy too. Very much in love duo Riteish-Genelia indulged in some serious retail therapy at shoppers’ paradise Kuala Lumpur. We hear they even went over weight with their baggage.
Sonakshi Sinha made her singing debut at the IIFA; andso serious is she, that an album with Mika is on the cards. There were certain actresses who were quite envious of the opportunity and made no bones about telling the IIFA organisers about it.
Rocky S is a favourite designer of most Bollywood heroines. That he has a heart of gold was revealed when a newbie talented actress had a serious wardrobe issue. Rocky promptly turned knight in shining armour and gifted her a gorgeous dress from his latest collection. And it wasn’t a loan! Talk about making new friends (or new clients – whatever you choose to call it!)
