Birthday Special: Salman Khan BEATS Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and others to deliver the maximum numbers of Rs 100 crore films

Salman Khan turns 54 today and fans have flooded social media with adorable birthday wishes for their favourite superstar. With his recent release ‘Dabangg 3’ crossing the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office, Bhaijaan has created another record in the history of Indian cinema.
According to figures on Box Office India, Salman has become the first actor to deliver fifteen Rs 100 crore films with ‘Dabangg 3’ entering the coveted club. With his 2017 film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ topping the chart with Rs 339 crore, Salman is touted to be the most successful actor in Bollywood.

Despite mixed reviews from critics as well as the audience, Salman’s films have managed to excel at the box office which showcases the love that the audience shower on him.

Trailing behind the birthday boy is Akshay Kumar with thirteen films crossing the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan is well seated on the third spot with seven films while Aamir Khan has six films under his belt passing the Rs 100 crore figure in the domestic circuit. The fifth spot is shared by Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh with Ranbir Kapoor and others following them.

With ‘Dabangg 3’ managing to allure the audience to the theatres despite the CAA protest in several regions of the country, the film looks adamant to do more business in the coming days as well. Not only that but the birthday boy has also announced his next film which is titled as ‘Radhe’. Salman got everyone on the edge of their seats when he shared the glimpse of his Eid 2020 release which too looks promising and worthy of crossing the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.
