The Commonwealth Department of Health will be holding a briefing regarding the Australian Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine strategy for representatives of Australia’s multicultural media next week and I would like to invite you to take part in it.
The briefing will be run via videoconference (Webex), 12.30pm to 1.30pm, Tuesday 16 February.
Two senior departmental officials – Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Professor Michael Kidd, and the head of the Primary Care Response and chair of the Department’s CALD Communities COVID-19 Health Advisory Group, Dr Lucas De Toca – will lead the discussions.
Michael and Lucas will make a few introductory comments before taking questions from the media.
This briefing will be a good opportunity for you to receive up-to-date information about the COVID-19 pandemic, including the rollout of vaccines, from two officials who have played an important role in the Government’s response.
