The time has come, the highly anticipated supermoon has appeared in Australia’s skies, and boy was everyone camera-ready.
Hordes of sky-gazers gathered at vantage points on the country’s east coast to watch as the supermoon emerged on the horizon. Here are some best photos:

The Sydney supermoon seen from Elouera Beach at Cronulla, 7:50pm. It was a bit of an anticlimax, perhaps I need a larger lens (although I am told it ain't about how big it is, its all about how you use it). 😉😂 It was at its largest nearest to the horizon (but clouds obstructed the view). It became brighter, albeit smaller, as it rose in the sky. #moon #supermoon #sydneysupermoon #perigee #perigeemoon #orbit #sydney #sutherlandshire #elouerabeach #elouera #amateurphotographer #amateurphotography #canonrebelt1i
