After PM Modi’s initiative of ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’, the government has decided to sell only made in India products in the paramilitary canteens and the decision will come in effect from June 1. To strengthen India’s economy, PM Modi urged people to be vocal for local and promote local brands.

To move ahead in this direction, the Home Ministry has decided that CAPF canteens will only sell swadeshi products and no foreign-manufactured brand to sold from June 1. As per the reports, a total of 10 lakh CAPF personnel and 50 lakh family members will be using made in India products and that’s a huge change.

Paramilitary canteens generate sales of around Rs 2,800 crore annually and when the people will use ‘swadeshi’ products, it will give more strength to India’s economy and industries, said Amit Shah.

Amit Shah also urged citizens of India to use only made in India products and motivate local companies to grow global. This will not only allow local manufacturers to grow but also let them expand globally. He further said this is not the time lag behind due to the current outbreak. This is the right time to search for new business opportunities and by using only local manufactured products, India will become ‘self-reliant’.
