The NSW Government invites everyone to come and visit the iconic Sydney Opera House, on 21st Oct from 8pm onwards to view the lighting of the sails.

This is a first for the South Asian community and therefore are encouraged to view this spectacular display with family and friends. Diwali is a time for celebration, the lighting of the lamp during this festival illustrates the victory of knowledge over ignorance, light over darkness, good over evil and the symbolic lighting of the iconic House intends to showcase the New South Wales government’s commitment to remain engaged, knowledgable and aware of any issues affecting the South Asian community.

As the saying goes, “more the merrier.” We hope to see you there.
