A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a serious crash on the Sunshine Coast overnight.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Wilson Rd at Tanawha about 11.30pm.
It is understood the motorcycle ridden by the 32-year-old male collided with an embankment.
He died at the scene.
No one else was injured in the incident.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
Further west, two people have been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash near Toowoomba on Saturday night.
It is understood a sedan carrying four people was travelling along Dalby Cecil Plains Rd, Cecil Plains, when it lost control and struck several trees around 9.50pm.
An 18-year-old male passenger and a 24-year-old female passenger were both airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
The 24-year-old male driver and 16-year-old female passenger were treated for minor injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
