Priyanka Chopra Ropes In Ashutosh Gowariker For Her first Marathi Production Ventilator

After making her debut with a Bhojpuri movie, Priyanka Chopra has now ventured into a Marathi production. The movie titled Ventilator will see Ashutosh Gowariker playing lead in it.

We earlier told you that Deepika Padukone will soon follow her Bajirao Mastani co star Priyanka Chopra and turn into a producer. So while PeeCee had announced long back that she is planning to produce a Marathi movie, the actress today has unveiled the first teaser of it. Previously, this former beauty queen has even produced a Bhojpuri movie and seems like the actress is interested in coming up with innovative projects in these sectors rather than Bollywood.

Ashutosh Gowariker has now turned into an actor. This time Priyanka Chopra will be producing the movie and Ashutosh Gowariker will be acting in it. Yes you read it right! Ashutosh is making his comeback on silver screen after a huge gap and we wonder what made Priyanka Chopra choose him. The teaser reveals details about the movie and there are few funny moments but it doesn’t give you a definite idea of what the plot is all about.

The teaser starts with a character shouting that Gajanan kaka (uncle) is on ventilator. He keeps passing this information to everyone and they all start getting worried about his health. Ashutosh play his son in the movie. But who is this Gajanan who has made everyone worried and what integral connection he shares with them all is something that will leave you puzzled and asking for more. We agree this is a mere teaser and trailer is yet to come so we give it a benefit of doubt this time; hoping for a clearer picture ahead.

Another interesting point to note here is Priyanka didn’t approach any known star for her debut Marathi production. Renowned stars like Swapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar, Pushkar Shrotri are all missing and these are the celebs who have maximum fan following the Marathi film industry. Having them in your movie is generally a good idea since there are high chances that it will click with the audiences. We would like to ask Priyanka the reason behind going ahead with Ashutosh and not a conventional Marathi actor.
