Akshay Kumar left everyone surprised when he went to dine out with his family this Sunday. The actor paid for his meal in cash as he was carrying 18000 rupees. Yes! Though it’s not a huge amount for him, what left the onlookers surprised was to see him remove a wad of new currency pay the bill. The restaurant staff was super happy to get the heavy tip from the actor as well.

As per reports in an entertainment tabloid, “Akshay left the restaurant staff surprised by paying the bill in cash and he even gave them a heavy tip”. Now the question is, where every commoner is still struggling for cash, where did the Rustom actor manage to get a wad of new currency? We didn’t see him queue up outside any ATM because it’s Akshay we are talking about. If he stands in queue to withdraw, we would know!

Now, Akshay is known to be one of the highest tax payers, so if you are getting uncalled for thoughts in your head, it’s time to shut it down. He has done his duty as a citizen a lot of times. How many of you can claim that, eh?

Also to be added, B-townies have openly supported Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move and they feel it will bring new change and help curbe the black money issues. Right from Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan to Deepika Padukone, everyone supported Modi.

In fact Aamir doesn’t mind if his film Dangal gets affected by it at the box office. He said, “It is more important to agree with what is good for the nation. We should not see it’s short term impact. What is necessary for the country needs to be done. If my film is getting affected, it is a small thing”.
